Confrontation Fiannas
Confrontation Fiannas, what more to say? These are probably the most often painted miniatures of the years 2001/2002. I painted them in summer 2001 over two weeks, starting with the black haired, than the blond one and last the red head. They were the first female female models I painted (I painted females before, but not models like that...) with lots of bare skin as this comiclike sculpting style. My aim was to paint them as simillar to the confrontation display models pictured on the gaming cards as possible, in a rather unatural comicstyle manner.
Vital part of the models are the faces and the skin, which I wanted rather light and smooth.
As for the basing I didn't do any scenery but left them plain black as I think structured bases don't fit to these models. The miniatures and painting in rather unnatural (I believe nobody realy looks like this) and it would not make any sense to make a realistic base for an unreaslistic model.
All in all it has been a realy interesting experience to paint these girls.
